Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento
Ashton Blaise Whitty, born on the 1st of October, 1995 was born in Berkeley, California. She is an actor, known for Choices (2010), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House (2022).
Asia Argento began her career as an actor as an actress in Rome. Her family is also a group of filmmakers. The Church, directed by Michele Soavi, was her first film role. Following that her debut, she portrayed Nanni Moritti's baby in Red Wood Pigeon. Her profession took off after she landed the role of Nanni's girl in Close Friends. The film received a great reception in the Cannes International Film Festival. Her father was in the film for the first time in Trauma, a renowned Italian horror director Dario Argento. The mother of her, Daria Nicoleli, is Argento's favorite actress as she portrayed an orexic looking to find her parents' killer. Asia has worked with Dario Argento in three of his films, Trauma, The Stendhal Syndrome, and The Phantom of the Opera. In Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a nozze, Asia's absorbed manner of character acting was utilized well. The actress co-starred alongside Carlo Verdone in Perdiamoci di vista as Arianna the girl who is physically disabled. The complex and demanding part earned her the David di Donatello award for Best actor. The role she played was in Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio with Michel Piccoli in which she was awarded a David di Donatello along with a Grolla oro. Asia started acting as a profession in 1994. She produced two shorts, an episode of De Generazione. The following year, in 1996, Asia made a document about her father. And, finally, 1998 was the year that Asia created a feature-length film about Abel Ferrara (AbelAsia), that was awarded an award by the Rome Film Festival. In 1999, Asia began her film-directing career with Scarlet Diva with Scarlet Diva, in which she was the leading actor and wrote the screenplay. The film released May 2000 both in Italy as well as around the globe. The film was honoured at the Williamsburg Festival of Brooklyn, New York.
